They aren't small enough to put into a back pack, but they are small enough to ride along on the floor of your car, or sleep at the foot of your bed without taking up too much foot space. It is important to find the type of breed that fits you the best, and that fits your lifestyle the best. These medium dog breeds can be great additions to your home. They don't take up too much room, but they are big enough to be outside and playful, and participate with you in great walks and sporting events. They are also great hunting breeds, and are usually wonderful with children. Medium dog breeds take up just the right amount of room. They can stretch out easily in your home or even on your bed, but they aren't always in the way like larger dog breeds. A great medium sized dog kennel can be easily hidden in the corner of your home, and your dog will probably be small enough to ride in your car. Medium breed dogs often have the best temperament. They have less of a tendency to be yappy and ankle-biters, like small dogs, and they have less of a chance of be aggressive, like very large dogs can be. That makes these breeds the best dogs for families and for children.
